How I Work

Eight steps to wedding-planning bliss

Chances are you haven’t done this wedding planning thing before, so here’s how we’ll work together, step by step.

Step 1.

Have a Look Around

Grab a cuppa and check out my little corner of the internet. You can see the services I offer, have a nosy at my real wedding portfolio or catch up with my latest musings over on the Lovestruck blog.

Step 2.

Get in Touch

Got a question to ask or want to check if I have availability for your wedding date? You can get in touch with me by phone or using the contact form. I promise to get back to you in 48 hours and often a lot sooner.

Step 3.

Consultation Time

There’s no charge for this. We’ll get together, ideally face-to-face or by skype or phone. You’ll fill me in on your wedding plans and ideas and I’ll share how I can help you with them. I’m here to make life easier so evening and weekend appointments are available.

Step 4.

The Proposal

Within 48 hours I’ll send you a personalised report covering the services we discussed at your consultation, as well as the all-important fees and contract terms for you to review.

Step 5.

Let’s Do This!

Once we’ve worked through any final questions you may have you’re ready to sign and return your contract, pay a deposit and I can then confirm your booking. Hurrah!

STEP 6.

Plan, Plan, Plan

I help you organise your wedding. Depending on what services you need, it could be anything from finding the perfect venue or suppliers to managing RSVPs, helping you with etiquette or creating an impressively detailed wedding-day schedule.

Step 7.

The Big Day

You get married and thanks to your fabulous love story (plus my attention to detail, calm, discreet presence and Mary Poppins-style emergency kit) everything runs perfectly!
