Maddy & Chris booked me about 9 months before their wedding to help finalise their plans and coordinate their big day. They exchanged vows at St Andrew’s Church in Sonning before making their way to Stanlake Park for an elegant vineyard reception.
September showers meant we had to enact a wet weather plan for their big day so their drinks reception took place in the estate’s barn where guests tucked into canapes by caterers Fingers & Forks whilst being entertained by acoustic guitarist Ed Peczek. It was lovely to work with Ed again after being super impressed by his guitar skills at Elizabeth & Chris’s wedding at Wasing Park.
The venue was decorated with beautiful floral displays by the brilliant Tarnia Williams including rose gold candelabra centrepieces and a riddling rack table plan to help guests to find their seats for dinner. After the wedding breakfast the weather brightened and there was just time for a few photos amongst the vines before the evening party – led by awesome rock band the The Superjets – got underway.
