Tiffany & Nick’s wedding celebrations started at the idyllic St Peter’s Church on the banks of the River Thames in Marlow. The stunning building was made even more beautiful with  the addition of gypsophila pew ends and glass lanterns. The highlight of the ceremony (apart from the vows obviously!) had to be Barney the doggy ring bearer who happily trotted down the aisle to deliver the rings to Tiffany & Nick.

With the ceremony over and many happy tears shed it was time for Tiffany & Nick to head to the nearby Culden Faw estate where celebrations got underway with a drinks reception. A jazz quartet also kept guests entertained whilst Tiffany & Nick headed off for some couple shots in the beautiful woodland setting.

On the call for dinner, guests headed into the elegantly dressed marquee which my assistant Verity and I had spent morning decorating with an abundance of candles and classic, pastel toned flowers in hundreds of vintage cut glass vases (all sourced by Tiffany & Nick on many a pre-wedding antique shop trip)

The wedding breakfast tables were named after Tiffany & Nick’s love of music and travel as well as the River Thames in honour of the fact that  they grew up at either end and met in the middle! Guests could find their seat at the long trestle tables via handmade place cards crafted from sheet music and vintage maps and which also doubled as favours thanks to their wildflower seed contents.

After a beautiful 3 course meal, 5  wonderfully heartfelt speeches and a cheeky round of espresso martinis guests headed outside for a surprise fireworks display. Once everyone was safely back in the marquee it was time for cake cutting, first dancing, photo-boothing and confetti cannon-popping which continued well into the early hours.

Congratulations to Tiffany & Nick and thank you for inviting me to be party of your elegant woodland wedding. To see more of Spence Frederick Photography’s gorgeous images from their day pop over to the Lovestruck real weddings portfolio page.

Love,
